Punk / Rock and Roll band seeks drummer

Semi-established band seeks a drummer. We are looking to play and write short, fast and fun songs. Some bands we like -- Ramones, Joan Jett, Green Day, Screeching Weasel, the Stooges, the Descendents and Motorhead. Punk rock is the core of what we do, but we want to take some excursions into other territory like surf rock, early heavy metal and garage rock. Things we are looking for in a drummer: dedication, enthusiasm and desire to make good music. Technical ability is less important - we are looking for someone who can keep a beat and wants to grow musically with us. A desire to write songs and sing is encouraged but not a requirement. We have a safe and secure practice space in Bucks county. Our goals are to write music and record at least once a year and play out around the Philadelphia area. Everyone has day jobs and we do this for fun - so practice is usually on weeknights or weekends.
