Hello! I am an experienced dog owner with a special place in my heart for dogs that are senior and or special needs. My first rescue dog was from The Salem Humane Society in 1997. She came to me blind in one eye and over the years had both eyes removed due to glaucoma. I carried her EVERYWHERE in a front pack the last 7 years of her life. She sparked in me a lifetime of love for needy dogs!! I am home 24/7, (retired) I can provide love, snuggles, potty breaks, toys, treats, car rides, a warm bed, a spot right next to me on the couch. Due to COVID-19 and my location I am not in a position to take dogs that need frequent vet visits (such as those needing daily IV fluids, etc) but any condition that can be assuaged from home I'm up for! I have all the professional grooming supplies required to keep a poodle, Bichon, Shitzu- etc. Looking his or her best and a professional groomer with many years experience I take them to every few months for a complete spa day. I have experience with blind, blind & deaf, mobility challenged, separation anxiety, formerly abused and or neglected. I focus on love, exercise, time together, a healthy diet, supplements, dog play time, snuggles and positive reinforcement. There are currently 2 small, friendly, playful dogs in our home. One Chihuahua mix and one miniature pinscher. They are my husband's pups. My rescue Bichon passed away on December 20th. It was unexpected. He was the center of my world and I have a very big opening in my heart for a dog that needs some TLC. If you have or know of a needy dog please consider me! Thank you for reading this!!
