A monthly dance party of blended genres, with featured performances by regional musical artists. The THUMP & SOUL Clap is a new dance party, lounge and performance event taking place on the 4th Saturday of each month (except December) at the Native Gallery, 5 North Market St in the Mashpee Commons. The THUMP & SOUL Clap is about bringing the thump & soul good vibes with a hearty sampling of soul, hip-hop, house music, dance hall, and break beat by resident DJ, The ZYG 808 and a rotating list of guest DJs and musical artists. Inspired by his experiences at alcohol-free underground dance parties in New York City, Providence, Philadelphia, and the DMV; tales and legends of a by gone underground dance music scene on the cape; together with a need for folks to get out and feel good among other folks, the Native Gallery has become a monthly musical haven for folks to get lost in the grooves.
