This is a new group I’m forming, dedicated to exploring abandoned places in Upper Bucks County (Tinicum, Nockamixon, Bedminster, Haycock Township area) for the purposes of photography. Most, but not all of the places we will explore are on public property; many are little known, off-the-beaten path sites in public parks. Others locales may be on private property and abandoned public property and may involve trespassing. Our group is open to photographers who love history, exploration, abandoned places and ruins. Moderate hiking may be involved. We will abide by the urban/rural exploration motto: “Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints.” Group is limited to fully vaccinated photographers only; no exceptions, no debates. You will be required to provide proof of vaccination. The reason for this is that we sometimes may have to share transportation to reach our venues. No experience necessary, all skill levels, genders, races welcome. Suggested equipment: camera, hardhat, orange vest, clipboard, flashlight, boots, masks, water, lunch.
