Did your child (or you) get a new guitar for Christmas? Rather than plunking on it for a few days and then giving up, consider signing up guitar lessons! I am a certified Suzuki guitar teacher with a doctorate in music education. I have been teaching music in schools for ten years and privately for over thirty years. Students as young as four years old can start guitar lessons. It is never too late for adults to begin. For young students, I begin with Suzuki style lessons. For older students, we will take a hybrid approach combining learning fundamental guitar techniques with folk and popular styles. My studio is in Webster and I also teach via Zoom.
