Seeking Bass Player and seasoned drummer for start-up Rock Trio

Meets

77th street near 4th avenue, New York City NY

Description

Back up or lead vocals a plus, doing medleys of various Classic Brit and USA Rock, 60’s through 90’s in a non “Tribute Band” type of situation, relying on a more “loose” approach with spontaneity and improvisation. 50 plus and retirees welcome, but not a deal breaker! Good song “vocabulary” and “ear”, with a good “dish” of Blues knowledge. Progressions, pentatonic scales, (as usual in Rock), and Jazz, funk, Stax/Motown, Beatles, Stones, Who, The Animals, Kinks, Zep, Nazareth, Humble Pie, Cream, Rascals, Stephen-wolf, Ramones, etc., with all ideas for additional material considered. No sweat, friendly working atmosphere in my finished basement at low volume, to “work out” the song details, a few times per month, and homework for additional “practice” and readiness. Looking to get back into the music scene after this Covid debacle, that butchered the bar band business. Fun, some $$$, and flexibility (not withstanding), are the benchmarks to this endeavor. If you have been out of it for awhile, and looking for a way back in, this should be your “ticket”! Thanks for looking!
