Let's Party with a Purpose! Why February? February 2022 marks the one-year anniversary of Colonel John H. McPhaul's homegoing after losing his battle with stomach cancer. John's journey was an inspiration to many. As a decorated Army veteran and in his second career at the Architect of the Capitol, he was dedicated to mentoring young officers and his employees on The Hill. His legacy of selflessly serving others continues to live on. Join us in supporting the Colonel John H. McPhaul Memorial Endowment Scholarship Fund by attending the inaugural 'Why February?' event. It will entail guest speakers who will address the importance of Black male gastrointestinal health and wellness. Additionally, a silent auction will spotlight local small businesses, and proceeds from the auction will benefit the endowment. Special guests include jazz saxophonist Merlon Devine and DJ Rich.
