Our 2022 Black History Expo is an all-inclusive event in Silsbee, Texas is purposed for exposure and education on African American culture. Let’s come together and use this as an opportunity to learn and understand the cultural differences that make America the melting pot that it is. Please use this opportunity to ask questions about things that pique your interest within African American culture. Expo Location: YYAFA Center: 170 W Farm to Market Rd 418, Silsbee, TX 77656. Parking and Unloading: All parking is free. Please consider others as you park as the parking lot does not present difficulties in proximity for unloading. If you pull up close to unload, then please be quick for the safety of others. There is a $50 Early Bird Vendor, $75 General Vendor Registration per space, and an $85 Vendor Registration after 02/01/2022. If you feel you need more space than allocated, then additional fees may apply. YYAFA: Black History Expo 2022 Event Agenda Main Stage: Live music, poetry, dance, hair models, and more.Exhibition Marketplace: Vibrant space for vendors, organizations, and more to showcase their products and services to you.Seminars & Workshops: Various thought-provoking informational sessions addressing community interests.Hometown Noteables: Engage with local notables through lecture, presentations, and networking.Wall Expo: Immerse yourself in photos and synopsis of Black History and Historians on a National and Local level.Lunch and Refreshments: There will be lunch plates, a food truck, and vendor snacks available for purchase within the Expo. Please be prepared to support one another. Expo Schedule Early Bird Vendor Registration: 12/23/2021 - 01/15/2022 General Vendor Registration: 12/23/2021- 02/01/2022 Late Vendor Registration: 02/01/2022 - 02/05/2022 11:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Vendor Registration, check-in, set up, and housekeeping 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Meet and Greet & In-House Networking 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Doors Open to the General Public *Convenience fees of $10 will apply thereafter.* Vendor Check-In: Please arrive on time so that everyone is set up and incidentals are cared for in a timely manner. On the event day: please check in at registration and get all information for the day. If your registration fees are already paid, then simply check in with your business card.
