We are holding a Drive-in Movie Fundraiser to generate a sizable donation of hygiene care packages to the Parks Youth Ranch shelter. Our student led Non-Profit organization, Medicine and Health Education and Awareness Society, or MHEAS, wants to give back this holiday season. Our overall mission is to foster a community of future health professionals and leaders that are committed to empowering young people with health literacy through community outreach, education, and volunteering. We believe all children deserve the right to a roof over their head, especially during the crucial stages of their development. December 28 at 6:30pm, we will be holding a Drive-in movie fundraiser to generate funds for the Parks Youth Ranch shelter. Proceeds from ticket sales will be put towards care packages containing pertinent hygienic items for homeless youth. Things like face masks, dental care, and food will be donated in bulk. We are eager to make a positive change in our community, and hope you’ll show your support! The movie showing is Elf and it starts at 7pm.
