This is a great opportunity for you to effect someone's life in a very meaningful way at a moment when they may be holding on by a thread. A ***Instructions*** The number of TICKETS is the number of ITEMS you are committing to. Select the number of tickets to show me how many of each individual item you plan to bring. *** Winter is here in Austin, TX. And while winters may seem mild for us with shelter, it's a different story when you're exposed to the elements in the dead of the night. Many of you showed up in the past to make bags stocked with essentials, toothpaste, tooth brush, sun screen, WATER, granola bars etc. These are easy to hand out the window at a stop light and good form of outreach for someone constantly on the go. WE HAD A BLAST making these. We'll be adding socks and hand warmers to these bags. If you want to do your own collection of hats, scarves or gloves to bring for us to add even better. This is a great opportunity for you to effect someone's life in a very meaningful way at a moment when they may be holding on by a thread. All you have to do is show up and assemble your bags, mingle and leave with the ability to make real change in 3-4 people's days/lives. You don't know what the turning point is but it could be you at ALL times. This is a casual social gathering. Let me know if you want to join me so I can organize my materials!
