This is the Art Healing Circle you've always wanted! Learn the process of healing childhood wounds through creative expression! We are in a safe and creative space to offer deep reflection and create meaningful art in community! Local master artist Amy Tanaka and local therapist Cynthia Perez host this workshop together to provide a creative beginning workshop to explore inner child wounds through art. We will be painting wooden nesting dolls! We will dive into our subconscious thoughts through guided meditation and call our inner child within us. We will learn ways to attune to our inner child and nurture them through the intentional practice re-parenting. We will design and paint our own set of wooden nesting dolls in honor of our inner child, inner teenager, and our loving inner mother. We will explore themes, colors, times, scenery for our meditations that lead us to our authentic selves and create from our inner child flow. What's included for your fee: -Canvas bag -Journal -Pencil -Your own set of wooden nesting dolls to paint -Your own set of acrylic paint and brush to take home -Take home guided meditations and tools for further exploration Thank you for your interest in this class. Please dress warm and bring a yoga mat and water/snacks and 2-3 photos of yourself as a child/teen/20's something (optional but helpful to the process). *This is the first class of a series of Re-Parenting Art Workshops we will host.
