Framingham Man Dies In Christmas Eve I-495 Crash

HOPKINTON, MA — A 24-year-old Framingham man died Christmas Eve morning in a single-vehicle crash along I-495 in Hopkinton, according to state police. The crash happened near 8:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes. The man's pickup truck left the roadway and hit the abutment where Fruit Street crosses the highway. State police were still investigating why the man crashed. The man, who was the only person in the truck, was taken to UMass Memorial in Worcester for treatment, which is where he died. Police did not immediately release the man's identity.
