SAN ANTONIO (December 23, 2021) – The use of fireworks in the City of San Antonio is illegal and can result in a Class C Misdemeanor which can carry a fine of up to $2,000. If you are injured or someone you know is injured because of fireworks, please call 911. If you see reckless use of fireworks that presents an immediate risk of bodily injury or fire hazard, then please call the Non-Emergency number 210-207-7273. The San Antonio Fire Department will prioritize these calls and will respond based on risk assessment and the then current demand of calls. Residents are encouraged to visit one of the professional fireworks displays occurring throughout the city.
