Press release from the University of Texas at El Paso: MC Staff December 23, 2021 UTEP Marketing and Communications The University of Texas at El Paso will begin its winter holiday schedule Friday, Dec. 24, 2021. The campus will be closed on that day. The following offices will remain open and functional (virtual or in-person) with reduced staffing Dec. 27-31: Regular hours and staffing will resume Monday, Jan. 3, 2022. UTEP also will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, 2022, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The spring semester begins Tuesday, Jan. 18.
