Press release from the University of Houston-Downtown: December21, 2021 Several offices and departments were in the creative and festive spirit as they participated in the Staff Council's Holiday Decorating Contest. The winners in various categories included: Most Creative – Information Technology Most Traditional – College of Public Service Most Humorous – Sports & Fitness Best Theme – UHD Library Staff Council also extended their appreciation to the following departments for also participating in their contest and showcasing their holiday cheer: College of Humanities & Social Sciences Advising College of Public Service Financial Aid Office General Business, Marketing & Supply Chain Management and Management and Insurance & Risk Management Information Technology UHD Library Gator Success Center Sports & Fitness Transfer Relations In addition, Staff Council recognized Nick Martinez and Teresa Sterling for their efforts to coordinate the judging with his colleagues Sawsan Shatleh, Leah Davis-Long, Debora Evans, and Brian Blackwell.
