I have a kit you can use for rehearsals and one you can refurbish for your own practice and for gigs. That means no lugging gear until you’re getting paid to. To play this music, you have to be able to change between soft and loud, stay in time at different tempos and in shifting time signatures, count phrases, understand song form (i.e. what makes a chorus different from a verse) and work well with others musically and professionally, *including women*.
