I have spent the last 24 days apartment hunting.
I cannot tell you how many apartments I applied to nor how much money I wasted in application fees. I lost count and track of both.
Washington State wonders why there is a "Homeless" problem.
I'll tell you why you have one:
It's because you ask for way too much and then reject people who apply.
First month's rent
Last month's rent
You asked for a Security Deposit which is just as much as rent...
Pay Stubs.
Bank Statements.
Last year's tax returns.
Background checks.
And let's not forget about those made up magical numbers (Credit Score)
Pet rent. (As if my pets can work to pay their rent???)
Not to mention that every time you apply and get rejected it affects your magical made up numbers.
No one should be denied a basic necessity and right to housing. Especially when there are plenty of places to rent.
