ABOUT US We are a brand new AC/DC tribute band seeking a bassist drummer and vocalist, and we pride ourselves on delivering the most authentic sounding AC/DC show possible by referencing such live gems like 1991's "AC/DC Live" and 1978's "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)" and drawing setlists based on these past gigs. Some tribute bands look to recreate the sound studio albums, but the magic of AC/DC has always been in the live show. Especially during their early club days where they performed on an empty stage with no props or distractions whatsoever. Even "Live At Donington" is bare minimal, with only a few blowups during certain songs. The current members of the band have all been in well known AC/DC tributes before in the past and have a wealth of knowledge and experience on how to executive their give role within the band. We also have major booking contacts in the Tri State Area as well as the entire East Coast. This is the perfect gig for 2 lucky people that love AC/DC just as much as we do. WHAT WE HAVE lead and rhythm guitars WHAT WE NEED A dynamic drummer with swing and groove who can hold the beat down, and who is familiar with Phil Rudd's metronome like precision and timing style of play. People think his drumming is too simple, but the reality is that you could set a watch to his playing. The man is an atomic clock. A charismatic frontman with the balls of Bon Scott and the swagger of Brian Johnson. Some bands use two separate singers when performing different era songs. Others just sing the Bon songs in a Brian like voice, reflecting on the status of the band since 1980, with Brian singing Bon's material. We're not picky, and we're also not opposed to doing a strict Bon only type of band if you can pull that kind of style well and if its your thing. A bassist with a strong downpicking right hand who's well versed in Cliff's style. Backing vocals are a MUST! FOR YOUR AUDITION Currently our master set is comprised of songs from the 1991 "AC/DC Live" album and the "Live at Donington" DVD. We're asking prospective members who want to audition to learn 5 songs. 4 of which were chosen by us and 1 of your choosing from our set. You are learning the LIVE VERSIONS of these songs, complete with different endings, extended jams, and added sections. The 4 songs are: Hells Bells, Shoot to Thrill, Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be, and Sin City. The last song is entirely up to you, and if you happen to know more than the required 5 then great. But it's not a dealbreaker or dealmaker.
