He's been on the stage for his whole adult life, whether in swamp stomping country rock bands, traditional arrangements, or solo, and is now simply a very good singer/songwriter to spend the evening with. Playing slide on a resonator guitar (as needed), he evokes old blues-men, but with a contemporary consciousness about folk/Americana songwriting that is well suited to Clatter's listening-room vibe.
