Explore light and shadow in your art.
Light and shadows visually define objects creating the illusion of a third dimension but they also add drama, mood and capture the effects of movement and sunlight. Through silhouette paintings, shadow puppetry and the use of masking fluid in watercolors, we will use light and shadow to create dramatic works of art.
