LIVE LOCAL MUSIC presented by The Jazz Playhouse Sierra Green is one of the hardest working vocalists in New Orleans. Having cut her teeth on Frenchmen Street - the famous enclave of live music venues that extends from the historic French Quarter- she oozes with talent. Playing up to seven nights a week to international crowds who frequently come back for more music the next night, Sierra Green effortlessly belts blues, soul, funk and R&B tunes all night long as one of the few black woman bandleaders left in the Crescent City. Born and raised in New Orleans, her charisma, infectious on-stage presence, and tireless work ethic put her in a category of her own. Sierra Green is a must-see in any city, but especially on her home turf!
