Diamond Dove Pairs

Description

We have a few too many Diamond Doves. (picture is a stock picture) Hatched in summer of 2021. We have White-Tailed Blues and Normals (brown). These are native to Australia and are about the size of a budgie/parakeet when grown. They live to be 3 - 5 years in the wild and 15 - 25 years in a domestic setting. They are amazingly easy to care for, but there are also conditions in which they cannot thrive. They must be kept above 45 degrees Fahrenheit. They need a smoke-free home (even a self-cleaning oven can kill them). Cats can startle them and cause them to break fragile bones. Night flight can be caused by cats as well, resulting in serious injury. We only sell pairs because a lone dove will likely expire within months. They can, with patience and care, be taught to sit on your finger or fly free in your home. We do not guarantee you will get a male/female pair, as it is very difficult to assess which is which until breeding begins. In a case where you prefer one of each, we will replace one of your birds for free if you do not have one of each sex. We also have a few rescues that will not be sold for breeding. I know this sounds like a lot of ground rules, but we aren't crazy about seeing them go either. If you contact us with questions which have already been answered, do not expect a reply. Contact Joe at 5zero9-233-88nine6 between 10AM and 10PM only. We are located about 20 minutes North of Spokane WA
