Sammy Holmes Potter & Jackson Parell - The Calendar Year Triple Crown In this talk, hiking partners Sammy and Jackson will discuss the Calendar Year Triple Crown (hiking the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and Continental Divide Trail all in a year) trek they took from January 1, 2021 - October 22, 2021. They will share their preparations, journey, strategy, highlights, lowlights, learnings, and overall experience in setting the record for the youngest to ever hike the CYTC. For the health and safety of all, we are encouraging event attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status and to use the hand sanitizing stations we will have on site.
