Want to improve your skills crafting cocktails? Join us for Mixology Monday! The Mixology Monday series is a cocktail class taught by Tanner Nygard where you get hands-on experience crafting cocktails. Each class will feature a different spirit and will showcase the proper way to build various cocktails. This class will focus on: BEACH/TIKI COCKTAILS. In this class, the group will be broken up into groups of two and will go learn how to make four different cocktails. The cocktails will be shared between the two teammates. Mixology Monday is open to the first 26 people to sign up and includes equipment, sample of liquor, four sample cocktails, take-home recipes, and light appetizers. Our Beach Party Mixology Monday is Monday, January 31 from 6-8 pm. Tickets required. This event is held rain or shine at Rita's Cantina (401 SE 5th Street, Des Moines, IA 50309). Parking lot and street parking are available. Beach outfits, Hawaiian shirts, or festive outfits are encouraged, but not required! *Because this class serves spirits, participants must be 21 years old or older. Please drink responsibly.
