Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate free New Year's Eve concert, featuring Beethoven's 9th symphony with an all-star line-up of soloists! Orchestra Miami presents the ultimate New Year’s Eve Celebration- an unforgettable, family-friendly, free beachfront concert of Beethoven’s Symphony N. 9 (Ode to Joy), performed by Orchestra Miami, Miami's premiere professional orchestra. Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi leads an all-star line-up of soloists, including international operatic sensations Elaine Alvarez, soprano, Marianne Cornetti, mezzo-soprano, Russell Thomas, tenor & Kevin Short, bass. Bring the whole family to this free, outdoor event. Festivities begin at 7 PM and the fun continues to midnight ending with a spectacular fireworks display! The event takes place on the beach between 21st and 22nd streets- bring a blanket or a beach chair. The concert is free and open to all, with donations gratefully accepted.
