Sweet little dog needs a home

Hello, my elderly neighbor can no longer live on her own and has to go into a nursing home. She has a sweet little dog that my family, unfortunately, cannot take on. My neighbor’s family does not live close and they too cannot take on the responsibility of a dog. So I’ve offered to help find her a home. The dog is about 8 years old and I was told she is chihuahua mixed with possibly Pomeranian, she weighs less then 10 pounds. She does not like other dogs but she does great with my kids including my very aggressive 3 year old. She prefers to nap all day on someone’s lap but she also is crate trained. My neighbor does not want any sort of fee, she just wants a good home for her dog.
