TEKWSBURY, MA — A New Hampshire man faces firearms charges after police said he fired a gun near a Main Street motel early Saturday morning. Tyler Shaw, 26, of Manchester, N.H., is charged with illegal possession of a firearm, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. Police said Shaw fired a gun toward several people in the area of a Main Street motel. No injuries were reported. Police said the shooting was not believed to be random. Shaw was identified as the shooter and arrested without incident in Manchester. He will be arraigned in Lowell District Court once he is brought back to Massachusetts.
