SARASOTA COUNTY, FL — Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying "a real-life grinch," the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office shared on Facebook Wednesday. The agency shared surveillance images of a suspect connected with at least four thefts of holiday decorations. On Sunday, the woman, who has dark hair and was wearing a black tank top and pink capris, was seen taking inflatable lawn decorations from several yards in the Lake Sarasota and Grove Pointe neighborhoods, the sheriff's office said. She was possible driving dark-colored Buick SUV decked out with reindeer antlers and a red nose. Anyone with information is asked to contact SCSO's Criminal Investigations Section at 941-861-4900.
