The Black & Brown Connect Mixer (B&B Connect) will be part-professional, part-social and all about creating a collaborative network. “One who walks with the wise and successful shall be wise and successful” -African Proverb You are warmly invited to join us as we help launch a new mixer developed with professionals and career-minded folks of color in mind. Gain the connections and relationships, from right here in our community, that you can use to continue to build on your success in a psychologically-safe space. This will be a place where we can lean on our depth of shared and unique experiences to learn, laugh, and grow together. This is networking, reimagined and repurposed. The B&B Connect will be part-professional, part-social and all about creating a collaborative network where we can connect and share and make an impact through the power of US. No matter what field you’re in, you can count on engaging and relevant conversation, leadership and other personal development opportunities, hearing from community leaders and mentors, and leaving feeling refreshed and energized. This is a time like no other, particularly for Black and Brown folks. Perhaps you are leading a team as the only person of color. Perhaps you are looking for ways to engage in a more culturally-competent and relevant space with folks who can relate to many of your experiences in the workplace. Or, perhaps you are looking to unleash your inner entrepreneur and want to start or scale your business to the next level and could use a boost in the connections department. No matter your station, this Mixer will be a great place to dig in and create impact for yourself and our communities.
