Here are the top stories in Colorado Springs today: There are several ways to celebrate the holiday season around Colorado Springs, Denver, and beyond. (Colorado Springs Gazette) A juvenile was reportedly hit by a car after walking outside of a crosswalk in northeast Colorado Springs. The juvenile reportedly had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle was cooperative and remained on the scene. (KKTV 11 News) Gas prices in Colorado Springs have fallen to a 6-month low. Prices are likely to keep on falling into the new year. Colorado springs motorists paid an average of $3.338 per gallon for unleaded gas as of this past Wednesday, a six-month low.
