Holiday Police Processions Brighten Southwest Riverside County

SOUTHWEST RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Reports Wednesday of police processions at and near Southwest Riverside County hospitals was no cause for alarm. Instead, law enforcement agencies from across the region were part of a Santa motorcade. The jolly Christmas character was accompanied by patrol cars, with police lights on, to the local hospitals. The effort was designed to brighten patients' and health-care workers' spirits. The Murrieta Police Department was one of several agencies that participated, and department officials shared a video of the event. Watch below. Happy Holidays!
