LA GRANGE, IL — La Grange police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the police reports: DUI Juan Oliva, 70, of Chicago, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Maple Avenue and La Grange Road on charges of DUI, operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended license. Suspended license Brian Keohane, 19, of Riverside, was cited about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at 48th Street and La Grange Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. Misdemeanor speeding Liam McAuliffe, 19, of La Grange Park, was cited about 10 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Stone avenues on a charge of speeding 26 mph over the speed limit. Identity theft A resident in the 400 block of South Edgewood Avenue told police Saturday that someone created a fake OfferUp account using the resident's email address. The resident had no financial loss because the account was reported as fraudulent. A resident in the 10 block of North Spring Avenue told police Saturday that Best Buy and Costco credit cards were opened in the resident's name without permission. The resident reported $1,500 in charges on the Costco card and none on the Best Buy card. A resident in the 600 block of Sixth Avenue told police Monday about receiving a text message that there was a fraudulent credit card charge. The resident called the number on the message and determined that the information was fraudulent. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and people charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
