ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Earlier this week, Walgreens announced it was instituting a four-item purchase limit on at-home COVID-19 testing products in its stores and online. The decision was based on a nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases and increased demand, according to the Deerfield-based company. CVS followed suit with its own policy, allowing customers to purchase five at-home COVID-19 tests. They also can't be purchased for same-day delivery or shipping, as of Thursday morning. As the tests are selling out quickly, the company recommends customers visit their local store to see if it's available.
