Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060. Job Summary Performs housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain assigned offices, restrooms, public areas and/or residence locations. Assist with general labor and minor repair tasks for University buildings and facilities. Responsibilities Cleans assigned buildings including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, collecting trash and wiping waste and recycling receptaclesCleans and sanitizes restrooms, showers, and locker rooms and replenishes paper towels and soap dispensersCollects, launders and dries mop heads and cleaning ragsWaxes and refinishes floors, and shampoos carpets as assignedMaintains clean and operating equipmentInspects equipment and recommends the need for new parts, repairs, overhaul or replacementRestocks supply closets and replenishes paper supplies in restrooms, etc.Completes work order requests timely during emergenciesReports building discrepancies and damages in timely mannerUses required safety and protective equipment Required Qualifications Educational Requirements None Required Experience On the job training provided Equal Employment Opportunity Kennesaw State University is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
