Press release from the City of Alameda: December 22, 2021   Webster Tube (State Route 61) Overnight Closures For Maintenance Work December 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021 Webster Tube (State Route 61) Overnight Closures  For Maintenance Work December 27, 28, 29 and 30, 2021 The Webster Tube will be closed overnight December 27, 28, 29, and 30, with each closure beginning at 10 p.m. and lasting until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. The tube will be open in the daytime. The purpose of the closures is to accommodate maintenance work. Work will be postponed if it rains. Traffic Control Measures: Traffic Control Measures: Please drive with caution. Slow for the Cone Zone and Be Work Zone Alert.
