Press release from the Birmingham Police Department: 2021-12-22 On Monday, December 20th at 12:30 p.m., the Birmingham Police Department will be boarding our annual Christmas sleigh to deliver toys to children in several neighborhoods. BPD began this tradition to bring some holiday cheer to the community. We will have guest appearances from Santa Clause, members of our command staff, and many more! The sleigh will be departing from the Birmingham Police Headquarters (1701 1st Ave N Birmingham, Alabama 35203) promptly at 12:30 p.m. Please arrive no later than 12:00pm for media interviews.
