Missing convertible top

I had a ragtop on a project corvette I got off another car and it's my fault I didn't bolt/strap it. Didn't think it would fly off since frame was in rods. Noticed it came off not too long after El Norte parkway in the I 15 northbound. Maybe it came off on El Norte parkway. I called Cal trans, they dont have it i called chp and Escondido police and none of them said if there were reports of a top in the road and or someone crashing into it. I would really like it back even if it's damaged. I am dirt poor and am building a salvaged 1988 C4 on a budget. I can't pay a reward as for I'm trying to get my cdl license and spent the last of my dollar getting the car shipped AZ... when I start making money I can certainly tip you for recovering and holding onto it for me. Please and thank you. Top went missing on the 20th just before 12pm
