occasional "indie country" and classic country jam session in SLT

Singer/rhythm guitar player looking to play some classic country and classic-sounding modern hard country, just for fun. I don't think I'm looking to form a band right now but I get together now and again with a couple of fun people to learn some modern independent country tunes (stuff like Turnpike Troubadours, Brennen Leigh, Jamie Wyatt, Ward Davis, Sunny Sweeney, Cody Jinks, Whiskey Myers, Waylon Payne, Randy Rogers Band, etc, some modern honkytonk such as jon Pardi and Midland, and a few 90's neotraditionalists and some Bakersfield Sound classics). We've been working on learning more music theory and Nashville Numberrs charting a bit, too. I'm vaccinated and boostered, pretty likely to wear a mask while singing for the next few weeks to make things safer on everyone. I'm interested in "hard country" stuff only, I don't really like folk, although I do play a lot of bluegrass standards and sometimes play old-time fiddle myself.
