Title: Demolition Project Foreman Department: Operations Manager/Supervisor: Chief Executive Officer Effective Date: 9/23/2021 Supervises: Project Supervisors FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary: The Demolition Foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the different worksites to ensure the completion of projects in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. The Demolition Foreman is responsible to adhere to the State and Federal laws and regulations to maintain a safe work environment. This position is required to manage, train, and work closely with the Project Supervisors at each of the site locations. This position will lead by example. This position will direct the workload and delegate responsibilities to the Work Supervisors. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: • Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel • Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to crew members and contractors. • Training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors. • Providing adequate resources and staffing to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices and safety needs. • Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery and equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets and procedures. • Developing and managing project budgets and quality standards for all sites. • Resolving conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably. • Regularly reporting project status to supervisors, site engineers and other officials. • Notify Chief Executive Officer when Projects fall into a jeopardy of not being completed on time. Recommended Education/Experience: • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. • Good oral communication skills. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. • Good time management skills • Ability to maintain safety standards in all situations the job presents. • Good interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees and customers. • Must possess people skills to work with and around the public. • Must possess an ability to maintain a level of physical fitness to withstand any situation the job may present that is physically challenging.
