Mercedes Benz of Medford is currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time General Labor help to perform Porter and New Car Delivery Prep duties. Job Description: Responsible for greeting customers in the Service Drive and directing them to the Service Advisor, bring loaner car to the Service Drive for the customer and then take the Customer’s car back to the Service parking lot. This role will also wash, vacuum and prep new and used automobiles for customer delivery, fuel if necessary, and drive and stage vehicles at the dealership. Job Duties Include: • Always be ready to assist customers as they come into the Service Drive area • Stage customer vehicles from Service Drive to the service parking area • Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs. • Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris. • Quality control check of every vehicle before being staged for sale or for a customer that is purchasing • Fills vehicle with fuel off site • Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times • Ensures proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle’s window. • Maintains a clean shop environment • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record • Ability to read, write, comprehend and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English • Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background check • Physical requirements: regularly required to stand, crouch, and kneel; frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms and to use hands and fingers to feel objects, tools and components; occasionally required to stoop or crawl and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to lift 50lbs. Hours: Full-time will be 7:30AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. Part-time will be 7:30AM to 12:00PM or 12:00PM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday Mercedes Benz of Medford is an EOE Employer
