Description
We have an opening for two detail oriented and hardworking technicians to perform basic cultivation tasks on our farm. With these positions we are looking to provide additional support to our established cultivation team. Technicians will report directly to our Cultivation Manager. The right candidates will take pride in caring daily for our Nursery and Production spaces. This includes communicating with our entire cultivation team to stay informed and up to date on our variety of cultivation areas diversity. These roles must manage non-scheduled downtime, as well as reporting in a timely manner all equipment breakdowns and facility issues with our Facilities team. These roles must monitor and report status on all Indoor and Greenhouse spaces. Including but not limited to HVAC, irrigation, electrical, plumbing, CO2, exterior components, and lighting of the facility. These individuals will have a working understanding of, or a keen interest in learning all the related systems associated with our farm in order to assist the team and stay ahead of the difficult scheduling demands that come with a large scale commercial operation. These roles will be tasked and challenged with the goal of continually improving and strengthening the overall plant health and production, along with the depth and expertise of our team. There is substantial room for growth within the company as operations expand over the next 1-2 years. Responsibilities: Assist in cultivating the highest quality product possible Assist with cloning and transplanting Assist in maintaining plant health through all vegetative and flowering stages Assist in performing integrated pest management (IPM) Assist in creating, establishing, and follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) Maintain a clean work space at all times Perform quality assurance checks during daily cultivation tasks Record data in accordance with company SOP Basic cannabis knowledge is a plus but not necessary Adhere to biosecurity measures to prevent cross contamination Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Passion for hard work in a team oriented environment Great attitude and ability to follow direction High School diploma or GED required Ability to work some weekends and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to prune with shears for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds consistently This is a full-time, year round position located in the Selma, Oregon area.
