Farm Specialist We are looking for two hard working and knowledgeable facilities and equipment techs to help improve and maintain our farm production systems. With these positions we are looking to accommodate the increase in production by putting in place two new roles that will focus on the daily, weekly, monthly maintenance aspects of our Indoor and Greenhouse production spaces. These positions will report directly to our Operations Manager. The right candidates will take pride in maintaining our facility and farm operations central equipment in proper working order. This includes working with our cultivation team to strengthen our existing preventative maintenance plan and coordinating across our in-house staff. These roles must manage non-scheduled downtime, as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving equipment breakdowns with our team. These roles must participate in installation and/or on-going maintenance of all Indoor and Greenhouse spaces. Including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, CO2 storage, water systems and exterior components, such as gates, driveways, security, and lighting of the facility. These individuals will have a working understanding of, or a keen interest in learning all the related systems associated with our farm. These roles will be tasked and challenged with the goal of continually improving and strengthening the physical condition of our operations, and the depth and expertise of our team. There is substantial room for growth within the company as operations expand over the next 1-2 years. Duties and Responsibilities · Perform in-house maintenance services · Maintain and improve preventative maintenance program for building systems and equipment · Respond swiftly to equipment failures, minimizing downtime and providing outstanding support and communication to production teams · Actively strengthen relationships with equipment vendors · Bring innovative solutions to equipment use and systems · Participate in new equipment installation planning across internal team and outside suppliers · Direct proper equipment operation for all building systems and equipment · Oversee proper equipment use by staff · Maintain rigorous organization and inventory of tools and spare parts · Support and uphold OSHA standards and worker safety Qualified Candidates Will Fit the Following Criteria · At least 1 year of experience in facilities, construction, or a related field · Must have general mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, engineering skills · Ability to collaborate across departments and with outside resources and trade specialists · Outstanding problem solving, analytic, and troubleshooting capabilities · Entrepreneurial spirit · High energy · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Comfort with diversity This is a full-time, year round position located in the Selma, Oregon area.
