Pet Rats All boys 1 for 20 or 2 for 30 Rats should always be in pairs. It is a 2-5 yr commitment. They're babies so if you want them to be friendly you MUST spend time with them daily. I already hold them daily so they're not skittish with Me. Rats are delicate creatures be patient with them and they will learn to love you in their own way.
