Corn Meal Grinding Facility, Lab Technician Paris, IL Our client, the largest grain/food processing entity in the US, has a need for two Lab Technicians (2nd & 3rd shift) at their Paris, IL facility. This lab works with grinding Corn Meal/Corn Flour. These positions are full time, temp-to-hire. Job Duties Performing food safety checks in facility and reporting issues Performing final product analysis and approval Issuing customer certificates of analysis Completing weekly sanitation and instrumentation tasks Work hours 1 candidate for 2nd shift - 3:00pm - 11:00pm 1 candidate for 3rd shift - 11pm - 7am Once they are trained, could take up to 6 weeks for training they will need to be able to work every other Saturday, either 7a-7p or 7p - 7a Qualifications If the candidate does not have experience, the manager would like at least a 2 yr. science degree. If the candidate does not have a degree - the manager would like at least 1 year experience. They really like candidates from the college in Terra Haute Background/drug screen and pre-employment physical must be completed before starting. Boots: steel toe, cover ankles, slip resistant, FR clothing. FR jumpsuits provided.
