okay let's reverse engineer a missed connection! maybe we both just happen to be walking around mt. tabor park. you smile, i smile. you wave, i trip a little but do one of those half-jogs and try to play it off like i didn't just trip over nothing. you say hi, and it turns out i just broke my ankle. you offer to take me to the hospital which is incredibly sweet, i tell you i'm scared because i've never broken a bone and ask if you'll hold my hand. the doctors say i may never walk again which feels pretty extreme and you demand a second opinion. they were wrong - i'm gonna pull through! we celebrate with a high five and make plans to go on an actual date. the only thing i can't remember is where you said we should meet!
