If you plan to grow your own fresh produce, join us for a thoughtful look at what you can do to improve the success of your own home vegetable garden. Presented by Amy Lentz Amy Lentz is a CSU Extension Agent for Weld County working in the areas of home and commercial horticulture, food systems, small acreage management and sustainable landscaping. Prior to moving to Colorado, Amy managed the horticulture farm for a regional university in Kentucky, providing her with first-hand experience in growing a wide variety of horticultural crops in both greenhouse and field settings, including apples, blueberries, vegetables, poinsettias and bedding plants. Now, in her current role, Amy educates both residents and the commercial horticulture industry on a wide range of topics to help them be more successful with their gardens and businesses. Fort Collins Nursery is a year-round garden center, helping people with their gardens and landscapes since 1932. We offer a variety of fun events to educate our customers and to celebrate our plant-loving community.
