Wine tasting + preview of upcoming titles yet to be released to the general public. Books & Bottles is an intimate gathering to sample several savory wines while enjoying a sneak preview to upcoming book releases yet to hit the book stores. Sommelier Afton Kortz will talk us through a carefully chosen selection of wines to taste and discuss. Emily Smolarek of Penguin Random House offers a pre-preview of the upcoming titles you'll get to hear about before anyone else. The setting is the BookGive Service Station, our renovated 1940's era gas station filled with free books ready for donation to community organizations who need them. Imagine 20-foot ceilings and room to spread out among the stacks. Individually packaged charcuterie included. Ony 20 tickets available. All guests and speakers required to show proof of vaccination and booster. Masks must be worn while not actively sipping or nibbling. Tickets are $60 per guest and include 3-4 wine tastings, charcuterie selection and one and a half hours of book and wine expertise and conversation. Refund policy: Full refunds will be provided (minus Eventbrite's transaction fee) should this event be canceled due to weather conditions or Covid-related issues for the presenters.
