This course will teach you basic alcohol ink techniques which include color blending and drying and how that translates to ceramics. Have you collected a few plants over the past few months or looking to buy a plant at Shop Made in VA? Then take some time to create a one-of-a-kind alcohol ink-painted pot to put your plant in! This course will teach you basic alcohol ink techniques which include color blending and drying and how that translates to a curved ceramic surface. There will be some practice before working on your pot to make sure you get comfortable with the techniques. Jessica has been a maker since she was very little and over time has focused on abstract art. Abstract art with alcohol ink really takes into account your environment and mood so it is a great way to connect with yourself and your environment. Jessica also holds a masters degree in clinical mental health and is a full time child and adolescent trauma therapist. Previous to this she worked in daycares and was a nanny!
