A Call to Pray, Worship and to "ReKindle the Flame " for all Pastors & Christians as we face a New Year and New Challenges from God in 2022 A Call to Pray, Worship and to "ReKindle the Flame ", for all Pastors & Christians as we face a New Year and Ne w Challenges from God in 2022 Theme based on scripture 2 Timothy 1:6-7 "For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control." We will be offering a Prayer of Thanksgiving for he has been faithful, gracious, loving based on Ephesians 2:8-9 Gift of God: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast" If you listen to the nateral voices, media, politicians social platforms people are operating in fear. Christians should not let's rid ourselves of this by praying over Fear. We’re not ordinary people, but children of God, Himself. When we truly believe this, fear loses its grip on us. The spirit of fear causes us to weaken our resolve and shrink back. The Spirit of God enables us to overcome whatever adversity or trouble presents itself. In Romans 8:15 it reads " For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” We will asking God for Power from on High using Ephesians 3:20-21 "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen." We will be Prayer for Love, God’s love is perfect and is a model for how to love and 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 teaches us "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things." Lastly we will be praying for Self-Control and a Sound Mind as we find in 2 Peter 1:5-8 "For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will be praying that with God's power, God's love and God's self-control and soundness of mind that we can STAND as the CHURCH walking UNITED performing miracles, signs and wonders
