Description

Tri-Valley Career & Resource Fair hosted by Livermore Adult Education and the Tri-Valley Career Center (TVCC). All job seekers and community members are invited to the Tri-Valley Career and Resource Fair. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet directly with local employers who are hiring and to visit tables with local community partners sharing their resources and services with YOU. Please check back as we update this Eventbrite with the details of our participating employers and organizations. You can also find this information on the TVCC website. If you need help with preparing your resume prior to the event, please attend one of our free resume writing workshops at the Career Center. Click HERE to visit our workshop page on our website. Once you've registered, you will receive additional information sent through email with details a little before the actual event date. We look forward to seeing you on January 25th! Happy New year! The Tri-Valley Career Center (TVCC) is a community resource, connecting employers with qualified, skilled talent and job seekers with employment and career development opportunities - both of which build a strong local economy. We provide a variety of free services to employers and job seekers alike. For the job seekers, our primary mission is to guide them through the job search process, teaching them skills to be successful and offering support along the way.  We teach skills, build confidence, and offer new ways of looking at career opportunities.  Then we connect them to pieces of training and local or regional employers to get them back into the workforce.   For employers, we offer recruitment assistance from guidance in writing job descriptions to hold large and small recruitment events. We connect our job-ready candidates to the employers who are looking to grow their business through additional staff.   TVCC is a service of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District, with primary funding through the Alameda County Workforce Development Board and the College District.  We primarily serve the Tri-Valley region, including Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Sunol, but are connected to the wider the EastBay Works collaborative network of career centers serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties. www.trivalleycareercenter.org
